The Weekend Meme

Give me any topics to list my top five - movies, fandom, television, music, food, general things, appliances, whatever you want. If you need to know what some of my fandoms/interests are, they are in my user info. I'll post the answers in a reply.

Anything goes, folks. But limit yourself to three questions, ta?

I'm working on the GO-PRT fic, The Seven Step Plan for Falling Angels, but it may take a while. I did an entire ficlet for Lust before Chris pointed out, "hey, it's about Andy's path to falling, so why is it Keith's POV?" Cue me re-writing the whole damn thing. I think it'll be better this time anyway since I'm about doubling the length now. Moral of the story: Do not wait to finish your fic before sending it to a beta.

Here, this is my current Andy and Keith are flirting, need mood music song: "Sticks and Stones", the Pierces.

Top five reasons Jon is hard to write (as mentioned in this (http://lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com/183363.html?thread=1365571#t1365571) comment).

Top five favorite comedy movies.

Top five songs that make you think of Keith/Andy.

Why Jon is a Pain
1. I know the least about his history.
2. Out of the four, he's my least favorite. That does not mean I don't love and adore him, but I love and adore to a lesser degree.
3. He's the most settled of the quartet, so I often have problems shaking him up.
4. Jon's influence on the PRT is quieter. He's very important to the overall stability, but he's subtle about it.
5. Other people write him so much better.

Comedy Movies
1. Airplane!
2. Grindhouse
3. A Christmas Story
4. The Producers (any version)
5. Slither

Five Kandy Songs (will upload on request)
1. "Fast Cars", U2 - the perfect song for the two. I mean, really, omg.
I've got CCTV, pornography, CNBC, I've got the nightly news to get to know the enemy but all I want is a picture of you\\Don't you worry 'bout your mind; you should worry 'bout the day that the pain goes away. You know I miss mine sometimes\\There is no fiction can will truly fit this situation, I'm documenting every detail, every conversation.
2. "I Turn My Camera On", Spoon - Anderson's song
I turn my camera on, I cut my fingers on the way... I feel me slipping away. I turn my feelings off, make me untouchable for life.
3. "Timebomb", Old 97s - love song that just makes me laugh and captures the "I hate/love you" they have
I got a landmine in my bloodline, I'm not immune to getting blown apart. [He's] like a claymore, that's what [he's] there for- [he's] waiting 'round here to get blown apart. Having [him] on my brain's like getting hit by a train.
4. "Satellite", Guster - Keith about Anderson
Shining like a work of art, hanging on a wall of stars, are you what I think you are\\Maybe you will always be just a little out of reach\\You're my satellite, you're riding with me tonight: passenger side, lighting the sky, always the first start that I find.
5. "Over My Head", The Fray - how doomed the relationship is
Everybody knows I'm in over my head, but with eight seconds left in overtime, [he's] on your mind\\It's coming down to nothing more than apathy 'cause I'd rather run the other way than stay and see the smoke and who's still standing when it clears.

You don't write Jon too badly, just not the best. You write Andy the best, however. Just the right amount of angst and sweetness. ^^

Grindhouse is a comedy? I thought it was a B-movie action flick. I haven't seen it yet, though... And The Producers=<3 It's also really good on Broadway.

Could you upload all of those songs for me please?

What are you top five pairings in fandoms you don't write, but are into?

By the way, I've been meaning to buy Good Omens for years, but have been forgetting when I go bookshopping. However, because of your fic, I finally remembered last night when I was at Barnes and Nobles. I can't wait to read it!

yay for GO! And yay for me giving good Andy (tho Cosmic's Andy makes me weak at the knees, it's so spot-on).

Grindhouse made me die laughing, so, yeah.

U2 - Fast Cars
Spoon - I Turn My Camera On
Old 97's - Timebomb
Guster - Satellite
The Fray - Over My Head

Alternative Pairings
1. McKay/Sheppard (SGA)
2. Matt/Danny (S60)
3. Dan/Casey (SN, but I will vid this)
4. Fraser/Kowalski (dS)
5. Jack/Rose/Nine (DW)

Thanks for the downloads! There quite a few songs that remind me of Keith/Andy. I may have make a fan mix...

None of your alternate pairings are in my fandoms! XD I guess we don't overlap much. I've been meaning to check out Doctor Who though, since I'm a British comedy freak and DW is essential British TV.
