From what I've heard, the leaked epilogue is real. Whether the carpet!book is or not, I have no idea. I never read it.

But the badfic OBHWF epilogue is real.

ETA: According to Chris, the carpet version is most likely legit. And I trust her since she's read it.

As someone who knows all the spoilers, I think he's the only character JKR did right by. He got a great hero moment.
