Fic is going great. Scrunchy is my new muse with her cheerleading and bribery-via-sexyman-pictures.

And now I'm thinking of the New Years. I know already I'm gonna be watching CNN. Our boy Anderson's hosting despite having stated in his book and in a magazine article that he doesn't like NYE hosting. Oh, you poor baby, you need to learn how not to volunteer for this shit.

But anyway. I heard a rumor that the Scissor Sisters are performing. (Let's not think of what a coincidence it is that a band that Anderson's allegedly friends with is gonna be on his show. Hmm...) I've got their song "Get it, Get it" on repeat right now (click for YSI link to song) and I want to know if anyone knows for sure that they will be on. Because, omg, I LOVE THEM.

1. omg, someone send me Weird Al polkas. I have "Polkarama!" and it just had fucking well MODEST MOUSE DONE POLKA STYLE. That was the coolest thing I ever heard. *swoons*

2. any Scissor Sister songs? plz? I have "Get it, get it", "Comfortably Numb", and "It can't come soon enough". I'm addicted, even though I can't sing along due to the vocals being too high-pitched. I suck. scrunchy is my hero. *rocks out to her news files of SS*

"Get it, Get it" makes me want to write sex scenes. With Andy. Because he's a goddamn tease and one of these days someone's gonna take him up on it and catch him off-guard.
