Mum and I just had a massive blow-out "NO, YOU'RE WRONG" argument after she said she liked The Day After Tomorrow more than 2012 because "it had more science behind it."
I shit thee not.
Come to find out, her definition of 'science' is not like our own. It's freaky Bizarro World definition. Apparently, TDAT taking a few minutes to say "this is what caused this which in turn caused this" = "science" and not "the writers wanted to pretend this wasn't a total Excuse Plot."
I love my mother. She is hilarious.
