If I ever meet Sarah Palin, I swear to god- no, I'm an atheist. I need to swear on something real... I swear on my tattered, loved copy of Good Omens, I will punch Palin in her face.

I don't care if you genuinely believe in God, want to put creationism in schools, want to ban library books, and lie about your earmarks. I don't care.

But when you are in any way connected in blaming women for rape, you are less than a human being and I only wish harm upon you.

On Monday, Fox News featured two women talking about how enraged they were by a feminist group critiquing Palin. How could anyone, they argued, not consider a working class woman who has risen through the ranks and achieved a position that could eventually place her as commander in chief of the United States ever say she was not a feminist, a proponent of women's rights? Were McCain to win, feminists should rejoice, right?

Wrong. Being female doesn't make you feminist. Being female doesn't mean feminists will support you. Palin in no way is an advocate for women. Her being on the ticket is a slap in the face to feminists. She is a pawn and she is vile.
