Tex is the Meta! Remember, she's got the invisibility power and she's gone missing and she's also able to do the "ghost" thing like Church? And they met before the war? All a set-up. Or maybe not. Maybe they were chosen for the AI program and their minds were used in creating the Alpha.
Ooooor, Tex is Church. Kinda. I mean, is the Meta is just another part of the Alpha AKA Church, then maybe... have we ever seen Tex without her armor in the series? Obviously it'd be an off-screen thing, but still. You see where I'm going with this? I mean, robots are not outside canon. Look at Lopez.
