I can't believe my first vote went to such a man. I can't believe I canvassed for such a man. I can't believe I met one of his campaign workers by chance in a coffee shop. I can't believe such a damn decent man will be in the Oval Office.

God, this country.

I can't quite forgive him yet.

But that helped. A lot.

I don't think I can forgive him yet, but I'm happy he said that.

I mostly forgave McCain as well.

This election, Luce.

McCain's concession speech was very classy, even if his supporters were douchbags.

But oh my god, Obama. There was so much joyful screaming on campus, and I cried during the acceptance speech, and this man. This country. I can't even. ♥

I'm glad. My first Presidential vote went to Mike Dukakis. Like giving one's virginity away to the wrong person, it kind of haunts one for the rest of one's life.

Am I allowed to say I'm really proud of all the work you did? Because I am.
