Okay, question.

I can get Pokemon: Pearl/Diamond for about $30. I can get Platinum for about $40.

What's the major differences and is P:P worth the extra cash?

Anyone know?

IIIIIIIIIIIIN MY OPINION
Platinum is ten times better than D/P. Some of the gym puzzles are different, the order the gyms go are slightly different, and it has a completely different ending...thing. I haven't found a change I haven't liked, though.

Personally I'm kind of Pokemon challenged since I haven't played any of the games since red/blue/yellow back in the day, but Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Diamond_and_Pearl#Pok.C3.A9mon_Platinum) claims that it's an extended/slightly different version a la Yellow, and that there's more gameplay/better graphics than Pearl and Diamond.

I'd get Platinum, given the option. I think you'll like Inspector Douchebag (I never bother with his real name), and the cities get a little makeover and so do some gym puzzles and DSFARGEG so pretty. So fucking pretty I feel like I got stabbed in the eyes with a magic wand.
