So, you're writing a fic. It's going pretty well. You have it all planned out and confident in the plot.

Then you suddenly think of a way to add some crowd pleasing smut that may also add to the characterization in the story.

But you're not sure writing said scene won't break some of the atmosphere you've barely managed to pull off.

OKAY BASICALLY, I THOUGHT OF HOW TO GET SOME CREEPY SEX INTO REPEAT TO FADE, BUT DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT. I'm on the fence. Do I leave well enough alone, try to fit it into the story, or set it up as a bonus, optional chapter 2.5 or something?

If you feel that it adds something to the story, then I don't see the problem. But, if you're trying to continue the creepy srs thing that you had going on in chapter one (and I forgot to tell you how much I absolutely LOVED it. ), then go ahead and add it as a bonus.
