Gamer thoughts.

+ Assassins Creed 2 done. SO HOW ABOUT THAT ENDING? Also, Subject 16 is love. Best part of the game was Cam Clarke, I'm not gonna lie. I think he's one of my favorite VAs now. He was astounding in this, really tore at my heartstrings.

+ Oh hay, I guess I can play Persona 4 again now, lol.

+ Am I that bad of a person for wanting very badly to play Bayonetta? I mean, HELLO. It was done by Clover Studio alumni and the DMC designers. And, you know what, yes, I am shallow at times and Bayonetta is hot. Though the Hair Thing freaks me out.

+ Was Repeat to Fade 3 really awful or something? :k-kinda sad: I don't think I'm obligated to have reviews, but after so many expressed excitement... I dunno. I'm confused that I really misstepped somehow. :sighs:

+ Anyway. There is no VA work in Metal Gear Ac!d! That's... more jarring than I ever expected. Also, movement is so fucking tedious. I'm so glad I love the visual style to pieces.

That's all for now. :3

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I read (stalk? but not in a scary way!) your journal BECAUSE of your Repeat to Fade fics. I've just been avoiding posting in the MGS comm because I feel guilty for not having finished my Secret Santa fic yet, but now I feel guilty for letting my comments for your fic die in the crossfire, so I'll deliver them here.

Anyway, your story was AMAZING. Don't let the lack of comments get you down. I'm usually a lurker, and I suspect most readers are, but I feel compelled to tell you that your story is truly wonderful.

I tend to skim fics until they get to the "good bits," (interpret as you will) but from the first chapter I've read every word of RtF and loved it. I am insanely jealous of your descriptions; you have a wonderful balance between just stating what everything looks like, making it meaningful, and not making me feel like you're just setting a scene, that the descriptions really MEAN something.

I'm also in love with the weird/creepy dynamic going on between Snake and Cyber!Hal. The love scene was just... wow. I'm still pondering what Cyber!Hal meant when he asked Snake if he was "there" during the scene - there physically, or emotionally, or if he finally felt that Snake could love this version of Hal, too.

"Litanies of apologies" has also been stuck in my mind. Love that phrase; might have to steal it.

Why do I have the feeling this will end tragically? I'm going to miss this weird alter Hal when it's all over.

I have great fun playing MGA because I have to do all the voices. It is a delight and I recommend you try it (shut the door, though. The one time my parents have come in through all my years of voiceacting games, it was when I was 'playing' MGS:DGN and I was screaming 'OH YES!! OH YES!! MOAAAR!!')
