Son of the ETA: For my House-fen...

The ETA Strikes Back: This is officially a multi-fandom post.

(If you get the reference, let me know and you'll get a gold star.)

The Return of the ETA: My last one, I fuckin' swear.

I should not be allowed here anymore.

ETA: As of now, it's not just a DW post. *grin* I couldn't help myself.
ETA again: That's IT! I'm DONE! Twelve posters is ENOUGH!

Then why am I eyeing my SGA and Numb3rs folders...?

I was thinking House as US-Crowley and Wilson as US-Aziraphale.

"Crowley, before we go, I just want you to know that I always knew that deep down there was a spark of goodness in you."
"Yeah, tell the whole blessed world, why don't you? [...] Aziraphale?"
"Yes?"
"I want you to know that I've always known that you were just enough of a bastard to be worth liking."

That? Is our boys. (Not exact quotes, working from memory here, but it's right before Adam fixes everything.)

True, true. That makes much more sense. It also means that War, Famine, etc. are the ducklings and Cuddy -- does that make Stacy the Metatron?

[identity profile] lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
I was just planning a angel/demon meet-up, like when Azira and Crowley meet for drinks, but this is interesting...

Cuddy's War, Chase is Famine, Foreman's Death, which leaves Cameron as Pollution.

*has a sudden image of Stacy in Alan Rickman's role in 'Dogma'* *dies a little inside*

Oohh, I need to see that movie. All my friends say I should, but I can't watch R-rated movies. Ack!

Cuddy is indeed very Amazon-like.

[identity profile] lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 06:02 am (UTC)(link)
It's only rated for Language (see: Jay of Jay and Silent Bob. He's got a mouth, he has.), I believe.

And Chase is vain like Famine, and Foreman is the most House-like, earning him Death. Cameron... meh. I don't care.

Oh, you don't like Cameron? May I ask why? (Not like I'm defending her or anything, but.)

[identity profile] lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, several reasons. She's too emotional to be a doctor, she'd self-centered, she's destructive (not that House isn't, but House has Problems), she blackmailed her boss into a date, and, the big one?

"I'm allowed to sexually harass my boss."

Oh, fuck no. There is no turning back from the Cam!Hate for me now.

Aww, well, it's okay. *patpat* I didn't like her either before, but I've kind of made my peace with the fact that she is not going away anytime soon.

BTW, have you seen the Katie Jacobs [producer?]interview? I'll find the link if I need to, but she says that they'll be "playing with" the House/Cuddy, House/Cam, and the House/Wilson. Imagine! It might just be canon!

[identity profile] lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
Same here. As long as she stays away from House, I'm fine.

I've heard the story second-hand from a bunch of folk, but would love to get the actual interview so I can draw my own conclusions. Help me out?

Quote here: [...] What I love is that the audience feels, and I feel, that there’s potential for House and Cameron. I think there’s potential for House and Cuddy. There have been a lot of gay references to House and Wilson. [laughs] And I think we’re going to play with all of that.

Eee gold stars! *hugs them*

I'm going to head to bed now, but if there's anything else you want to discuss about House or whatever, stop by my LJ or summat. Eh. G'night!

(Also: am getting a Stargate vibe from you. Am I right?)

[identity profile] lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
I'm considering friending you, so, sure, maybe. ^.^

(That would be correct, but I only watch SG-1 when Vala's around. I'm guessing from your icon you're a Sam-fan. *keeps mouth shut considering Carter* But, I am in love with SGA. I used to be very active in that fandom and will probably get involved again once S3 starts and more pretties and slashy goodness shows up.)

[identity profile] introductory.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
Ooh, I've beaten you to it. :P

I really do like Sam, though, because she stands on her own as a character and she's not sneaky, manipulative, or petty. She's one of the more stable characters on the show -- which is definitely more than can be said for Cameron [H]. Vala is so incredibly awesome, though. There aren't really any characters on that show I don't like (except for Mitchell, who kind of has no personality.)

I love SGA about 85% of how much I love SG-1, which is odd. Most of what I love about SGA is the fandom, not the actual episodes, because people like [livejournal.com profile] trinityofone and [livejournal.com profile] julad have really expanded on what SGA is really about. Not that I'm disappointed with the SG-1 fandom; it's just that the series is so complete that there's not really much left to extrapolate, and with SGA there's room for so much more.

Rambling now, so I guess I really shall have to be going to bed before I pass out in front of the computer like I did last week. :D

[identity profile] lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
Dude, no one goes to SG for the episodes. They go for the fandom. *grin* The best fandom community in the sci-fi world.

I'm partial to [livejournal.com profile] astolat myself. *wink*

I'll friend you in the morning. G'night!
