ETA:

Son of the ETA: For my House-fen...

The ETA Strikes Back: This is officially a multi-fandom post.

(If you get the reference, let me know and you'll get a gold star.)

The Return of the ETA: My last one, I fuckin' swear.

I should not be allowed here anymore.

ETA: As of now, it's not just a DW post. *grin* I couldn't help myself.
ETA again: That's IT! I'm DONE! Twelve posters is ENOUGH!

Then why am I eyeing my SGA and Numb3rs folders...?

I have not seen the icons. I will have in ten minutes. Thank you for the heads-up.

*tosses you your GOLD STAR!*

The sonic screwdriver actually comes from The Parent, which makes it doubly hilarious to me.

I love that mentioning Crowley pulls up Aleister Crowley sites on GoogleMail.

I haven't seen much of the new Doctor Who series. My housemate's friend is showing us season eight at the moment, Jon Pertwee as the third Doctor. At least it's in colour, now.

*glee* "Well, angel?" makes my day bright and sunny.

I never saw the Classic Who. I probably will one day, but I started in the new series and just did a bunch of research for get the backstory. I'm not nearly as informed as the old fen, but I like to think I know what I'm doing.

I've been watching them mostly halfheartedly. And I'm not informed on backstory at all. I keep missing the important episodes.
It's a strange thing, the Doctor Who phenomenon. I think, in a lot of ways, watching the new stuff and researching the old stuff works well. That way you get the fanon consistency. The old stuff wasn't written with a strong eye to continuity, anway, and there are always debates about how to fit it all together. And the guys I'm watching it with are interested in the episode by episode stories, not really in what you learn about the universe or the Doctor.
They can't stand my attempts at retconning. They just don't care about it.
