TDO is one of the slashiest episodes in the history of slash. God! Sanctuary as well, actually (because Rodney was so v.v.v. jealous.)
Oooooooooh, music!! *downloads* Thanks! The only song I have is 'Soul Meets Body', and that one gives me goose bumps every single time. I sing along a lot. :D
"Running Through Water" by Jenn, the best John characterization ever. Mmmmmmmmm, yeah. The chair scene? Hits me right in the gut, it's that good.
"call soft enough" by Torch, because it's smut with a purpose. Hah, I was just rereading that one yesterday, when I was voting in the Stargate Awards. Still one of the hottest things written in fandom, ever.
*pets Mal* I never thought I could love him that much after he thoroughly freaked me out on Buffy.
"Soul Meets Body"'s I do believe its true... verse- omg. Is that brilliance in lyrical writing or what?
Best lines in "RTW": "I've always wondered." "Wondered what?" "What would happen if I waited until you stopped running. If you'd come back."
And not only is "cse" hot, it's hot with a purpose. And it's written so wonderfully, you can feel that mix of arousal and sedation John does. THAT is special.
I whooped and whistled when he said "I mean to take my shot at finding out what I'm dying for" because, holy shit, he'd already decided he'd die for this, die for River, and I just... *speechless*
I do believe its true... verse- omg. Yes, yes, YES! That part right there = LOVE. I thought 'Plans' wasn't that good as their previous album, but that song is one of the most beautiful DCFC songs ever.
Ooh, good choice of lines! They made me shiver, but I think this is still my favourite part: Circling around, John sits down, eyes closing at the connection, his mind ready for it this time, for the shock of recognition and the instinctive pull away that the chair fights and wins, almost too easily. Beneath him is all humming potential and above him is the entire world, and he hovers somewhere between.
Warm, hard hands cover his on the palmrests, and John's eyes jerk open, ground into the world so sharply it almost hurts.
"Tell me."
Nrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. John/Rodney/Atlantis = OT3 of my life. :D
CSE is so amazing. It's one of those stories that I feel more than I see it. Like, everytime I think about it, I get this warm, fuzzy, relaxed feeling. So. Good.
Oh, Mal/River! I don't necessarily ship them, but there is so much love. I may have squeed at that part as well. I also love Mal's look the very first time he sees her.
Jenn's fics are just amazing. "RTW" and "Don't Tell" are classics.
OMFG, and how he's doing the condescending explainy thing to Simon and they River pops up and he's al "HOLY SHIT!" and jumps away? YES. And I'm not a shipper or slasher. I find it hard to read any Firefly-Serenity fic because Joss's work with the characters is what inspired me to want to go into film and his writing in this 'verse is sacred.
Jenn was the one who dragged me into the SGA fandom to begin with. :D
I had her friended for a while, because she wrote these amazing fics, back in my first fandom (QAF US) and then she started writing SGA, and I pouted a lot, and skipped those fics. And then, somewhere last fall she posted, um, Arizona? Or Something More? *looks it up*
Arizona was first, yes. And I started reading that, and omg I had no clue who those characters were, but I wanted more. I saw 1x01-2x10 in 4 days. The rest is history. :D
Oh, word! There are shows that I love beyond words, but have no desire what so ever to read fic in. Buffy and Angel are on top of that list. Also, BSG and Veronica Mars.

Well, yes, cause occassionally, there are shows that have good TPTB.
