Goddamnit, dude, not cool, Firefox!

OMG WTF FIREFOX!

I have about 30 bookmarks and stuff and suddenly THEY'RE ALL GONE.

That is so NOT COOL!

Anyone have this problem before?

Mine happened this morning! I thought it was cause I waited too long in closing my windows. but I didn't reload any pages. I lost most of mine. not all of them.

I (still) have this problem too. What I heard was you can fix it by ctrl+alt+del-ing, and then going to the second tab (processes?) and clicking on firefox and shutting it down. What makes the profile thing an issue is that sometimes Firefox closes, but the process doesn't, and for some reason that makes the program be an annoying pain in the butt. It should work just fine once you do that. :D

However, if thats not the problem, you should still be able to retrieve your bookmarks.

On my machine firefox keeps its bookmarks in:
C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\%PROFILENAME%\bookmarks.html

If that files still there you can save it and "import" it later on, on top of another FF/Mozilla/Seamonkey install. If its not there you may just be screwed.
