So the weather went from really cold to really hot today, right?

I came home from work and there was a SWARM OF WASPS BY THE DOOR!

There were hysterical tears in the car when I retreated, I will admit. jesus I hate those evil creatures

Could one of you please dumb down 'World of Cardboard' Speech for me?

Because having read the page several times, I still don't get it. Why is this a trope? It just seems like "Hero Gets Even More Determined and Says So Dramatically". Am I missing something? Fuck, even the Laconic version isn't helping.
