I suppose I should join the DNC ruling wankbait bandwagon...

Okay, I think it is unDemocratic (in both uses of the word) to take away the vote of two states. It does disenfranchise the people.

But here is where I wanna bitchslap the Clinton campaign. For Michigan, Obama wasn't even on the ballot. He wasn't on the ballot because Michigan wasn't supposed to count. I do not give a flying fuck how many times the Clinton surrogates hold up the affadavits and say taking his name off the ballot was a voluntary decision- it was an uninformed decision because who would have thought someone would actually challenge the ruling later on.

So no, HRC, it wasn't fair and nothing you say will make it fair.

Also, this is tossing aside the rules the DNC set in place to punish states. Now, there is going to be a powerful precedent that any punishment put on the states is merely a temporary measure. What will stop states from starting the next run of primaries in December next time?

In conclusion: I will be thrilled when Obama wins the nod anyway.

God knows that I get so angry at anyone who is voting for Hillary because she's a woman. What's the difference between that and voting for Obama 'cause he's black? Gaaaah, double standards. :kicks Ferraro:

I think Florida should be counted, by Michigan? Hell no. I swear, this and Keith's SC the other night are making me consider switching sides to Obama. I prefer Senator Clinton's ideas and I admire her determination, but this makes no sense. Ugh, it's so confusing!

Things like these and all those stupid pandering remarks (hardworking white people, he's only there because he's black, constant number changing, and the assassination remark) made me go from "As long as it's a Dem" to "I fucking hate HRC," so....

And she herself never said anything about his race, just her stupid campaign team who should have all their mouths duct tape shut for all the stupid shit they say. As for the others...yeah :( It's making me go from "I <3 Hillary!" to "As long as it's not McCain". Ugh, it's making me lose interest in the campaign, to the point where I just wish they'd cover something else.

I can't link off the top of my head (ask me in the morning) but in a radio interview she said Obama couldn't get hardworking middle class Americans, white Americans.

I know that she doesn't mean these things that she says. Deep down, I know that. But... it feeds into America's racism. I know it does- I don't exactly live in a racially enlightened place. And I know that Obama doesn't say things that play into America's sexism and patriarchy. And that he, an allegedly "inexperienced" politician can avoid not fucking up like that, I don't see why I have to pretend Clinton doesn't fall under the same standards.

If she is the nominee, I will vote for her. But I still hate her.

A lot of not fucking up has to do with your campaign team, and Obama's has been very good, not saying too much but saying enough to make their candidate look good, and feeding him the right lines. Hillary's campaign team must be drunk all the time, because they never make any sense, tell her to say the stupidest things (when she's in debates and she doesn't pre-plan what she will say, she sounds very intelligent), and try to break the rules like this. Obama's campaign team is intelligent and Hillary's, as I said before, should have duct tape over their mouths.

Feeding into the racism thing is ridiculous. I loved her as a candidate because of her ideas. Getting into anything other than her ideas has proven to be fatal to her, and it's really irritating to see her say stupid shit like that.

I know you excuse her for it, but I don't see why I should not blame her for things her campaign team does. She hired them. I know Obama had to fire one of his staffers after she called Hillary a monster. Why hasn't HRC fired her people for their fuck ups?

So, yeah... I don't cut her slack because her team sucks. I think less of her because she's still using them.

I agree, actually. I was just saying that she herself didn't say them and can't be held 100%. Now though, because I found out that Obama fired a staffer, it just makes me more angry at her. Why didn't she do that? But I think it's pretty obvious by now that I wish they weren't hired in the first place. Hillary is just getting too caught up in the politics of it all, which alienates a lot of people.

I think we're kind of on the same side, then. We both hate what she's doing to become president. The only difference is that I think her campaigning makes her unsuitable.
