So they went with another applicant.

I just... I.... :hysterical laughter: I really really thought I had a chance with this one and come to find out they hire someone else without even giving me a job interview. Months of work for fucking nothing again. It's been a good year since I started job hunting and I've never even had an interview. All I wanted was to have one fucking job by the time Mum got home so I could show myself to be not a complete failure at everything. BUT I AM, COME TO FIND OUT.

Days like this, I just want to pop open the liquor cabinet, teetotalism be damned. There's a nice looking banana thing in there, maybe I'll try that.

Job hunting is really difficult in the current economy. The only thing you can really do is send out your resume to like five different places every day and hope for a response back -- experience can be a real bitch, though. I love it when bosses say "we'd like someone with more experience"; how exactly can you get experience if no one will hire you? Hah.
