Am I the only person that just sees inkblots when I look at these things? Does that mean my brain is broken?

Oh, sometimes I think, "Hey, I have a texture like that in my GIMP files" though.


In totally unrelated, news, IF ONE MORE MUSIC SITE GOES "OH, YOU LIKE DECEMBERISTS, ANDREW BIRD, AND DAMIEN RICE? YOU SHOULD TRY NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL," I AM GOING TO BUILD A TIME MACHINE, GO BACK, AND STOP NMH FROM FORMING.

I have been suggested their songs about ten times now. Either ya'll are suggesting their worst songs or I just don't fucking like them, okay.

Jesus. HEY, FELLOW MUSIC NERD BUDDIES: SUGGEST ME A GOOD NMH SONG. Like, the best you can find for stream. Let's settle this.

I think NMH is totally something you develop a taste for, not something that's just immediately like "OMG LOVE." Although I feel the same about the Decemberists.

But which songs have you heard and not liked? I think King of Carrot Flowers Pt 1 is pretty universally palatable. So is Song Against Sex. Holland, 1945 is great but I think it might take more getting used to, same with Two-Headed Boy and others. Aeroplane Over the Sea is also great.

Roscharch test is just so flawed :/ I had one taken once, and really, it tells more about the examiner than the examined. In that particular blot, standard "normal" responses are animals (mammals) and masks; but if you see something "ugly" it hints at sexual trauma, WTF. It makes no sense at all.
