Hey, Kripke, honey, if you're gonna both personify the Horsemen and have them riding around in modern vehicles, go all the way with the homage and have War be a woman. More interesting that way.

I love how Castiel was in, like, ten minutes, tops, and he was my favorite part. SO INTENSE. And blaming Dean. He put his faith in Dean and Dean failed. OUCH. I can't wait to see their relationship this season.

... I REALLY WANTED GOOD OMENS!WAR. I am stupidly disappointed. We better see War again and (s)he better be a redheaded woman.

ETA: Looking over some SPN fen reactions, people are actually upset Dean gave Castiel the pendant. Let me reiterate: they are upset that Dean gave Castiel his necklace which could help Castiel find God. This fandom, guys. This fandom.

Yeah, the entire episode, I was going, "GO did this better." Especially with SPN!War's "people are so stupid and violent" shtick. I much prefered GO!War's more seductive, sex/violence angle.

The only thing I was disappointed with with the amulet was that no one had the reaction: ... the amulet Sam probably bought from a dollar store and gave me for Christmas one year is now somehow an amulet that can find God???

I don't know he bought it at a dollar store, but someone - Preacher Jimmy, or whoever - gave him some money to buy it. It's not like he found it in a secret alter in an abandoned church glowing with its might, or anything. Probably dollar store.

I 100% wholeheartedly believe Ruby was originally meant to be good, but the combination of the new terrible actress who everyone hated and the show's extention to a fifth season made the writers change her to Evil.
