It's official. The Big Bang Theory was written for me by the gods of TV. I've been mainlining it since Mum brought the first two DVDs home to me.
As awesome as the science, games, and random geeky references are, I kinda sorta think I'm insanely in love with the theme song, sung by the fukken BARENAKED LADIES OMG OMG OMG.
Just try it, it's so wonderful and full of glee and science and and and I have no words for the kind of joy it inspires in me. I love it's drive and it's speed and how it's almost anxious to tell you how glorious the universe is.

No, seriously, I love Big Bang Theory so very much. I love the theme song. I love Sheldon. I love Penny. I love Leslie Winkler and Raj and Howard and Leonard and Leonard Nimoy's DNA and Sheldon's mom and Leonard's mom, and pretty much everything about this show.

I have no idea if I'll be actually fannish for this show (I quit studying Physics years ago and doubt I could write it) but I do like squeeing over it.

Also, the person who writes me an AU where Sheldon was Rodney's grad student and possibly the only professor who ever liked him (not that Rodney would ever tell him that, he'd just, y'know, insult him more as motivation).
Eh, as far as I can tell, the writers probably don't know much more physics than you do. The boy (who is in physics) says "la, la, la, I can't hear you" a lot while watching.
