non-spoilery thought about DW
So the Eleventh Doctor is a little bit, oh what's the word.... terrifying.
22:05-ish into The Hungry Earth. Tell me he's not just... oh my god. I take back anything I might have said about Matt Smith playing the role a bit like Tennant did. This is not Ten, at all.

Unrelatedly, the EDAs have ruined me for DW. I keep going, "Oh, so this is the [insert EDA here] episode." What can I say, Eight is my Doctor.

It's just, you know, I love Ten to itty bitty pieces, but when he was being shouty and raegtastic, I likened him more to a child, and I could only take his anger seriously when he was more low and controlled (the "I'm being veryvery calm" conversation in New Earth comes to mind). Eleven actually terrifies me (and it's AWESOME).
