quick question before I go to bed

Is there a way to follow a LJ community from DW?

You can create an RSS feed. Things that are cut on the LJ community will not be cut in the feed, but otherwise it's really easy. If you need step-by-step instructions, I'd be happy to supply, but since I'm going to bed myself, it might have to wait.

Actually, here's the FAQ entry on it.

Yes, I understand. I found out the hard way. Also, if the community has age access limits on it, the entries won't display, so you have to link through anyway.

Read-your-lj-flist-from-dw functionality is in the pipeline but not ready yet (the site is still in beta). However, you could try submitting the idea of respecting cut-tags (or perhaps auto-cutting) RSS entries at [site community profile] dw_suggestions; their implementation of suggestions is sometimes pretty quick.

Personally, it doesn't bother me too much to read a few lj comms in their uncut form, but I can see that it would be troublesome if there were too many.
