Well, once CON.TXT is in full swing, it gets a bit easier. The flail and the squee are valid methods of communication.

IKR? And I have totally given up and mimed an emoticon while talking to a real person. It's weird having to make sure your expression and intonation actually line up with what you MEAN when you're distracted by other people. :P
