Luce on a Plane

ANYONE STILL ONLINE!
I'm getting ready for my flight tomorrow. I have one CD-RW with Pru fics and another I'm gonna put music on.

Use YSI to send me a song to listen to for my flight to Florida.

*looks kewt*

Got any preferences (showtunes etc?) or shall I surprise you?

Erm, music that you really love. Not goofy irreverent stuff. I have a LOAD of that.

Uploading a zip file. It's a lot of my roadtrip/writey music. I'm on my laptop so the variety isn't the same as my desktop's music selection would be. Uh I can tell you the artists but if you import it to any music program it should have the meta attached.

I can send you comedians or "Spock Vs Q" if you want too.

Nah, just music, thanks, but writey-travel music sounds brilliant! *twirls*

it's got about 20 songs, so the upload will take about an hour on YSI.

link should be in your inbox!

Beside a few Linkin Park songs I cut out (screaming = hurt on Lucy's ears), all of them are on my first CD for the flight. I only heard bits of them while scanning for things I knew I wouldn't like (Dido, for one, but that's just because her voice grates). Volitare ROCKS. And I think I'll love that Black Lab song after a few more listens. So, yes, FTW.

If you still need I can round you up with some voltaire and more from that black lab album.

What did you think of Emerald Rose? I've got a few more of them too.

[identity profile] lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com 2006-06-20 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
Emerald Rose... it's the kind of song I know I'll like more as I listen to it more. Ya know? Just the intuition of "it's okay now, but it'll rock later" thing.

Now, bedtime for me.

Have some musics! I will always readily give you musics.

I've included five random songs I like right now:

Speeding Cars - Imogen Heap
Orchestra - The Servant
Raoul - The Automatic
Inner Universe (Long Version) - Yoko Kanno
Afterglow - INXS

And, woah. YSI is now letting you send a gig? When did that happen?

Also, remember to ask the flight attendant, "Pardon me, but are there snakes on this plane?"

I've already got Mom making me swear to get the hell off the plane if I see Samuel L. Jackson.

After getting an autograph, of course.
