I managed to actually avoid having the Coming Out talk with my parents-- I joined the GSA, started buying rainbow paraphernalia, and figured they were okay with it after they recommended I watch Victor/Victoria with them. My mum's comments were somewhere along the lines of "whatever, just so long as you're happy." ♥

Unfortunately I doubt that would work, given your situation. *sigh* I'm around a lot if you want to talk about it. I'd like to help if I can, even if it's just lending a sympathetic ear.
