Okay, major FList announcement!

After the clusterfuck at the Anderson comm (don't ask which one, not at liberty to say), I've been feeling pretty paranoid, especially after HuffPo reported on it. Um, sorry, but HuffPo talking about a place I frequent = OMFG, EEK! to me.

So, all that RPS fic I wrote is going under a lock. And any future RPS I write will also be under lock.

Now, I know how annoying it is to have an author with FLocked fic. I've bitched about it often enough myself, but I can't let an incident like this one slide. Too dangerous.

So I'm gonna start friending anyone who friends me. I glanced over my info page and noticed, hey, a lot of folk have friended me. Sooo...

If you've friended me recently (or not-so recently, even), please introduce yourself. Tell me who you are, what your fandom is, and why you friended me. Nothing fancy, just so I have an idea of who the hell you guys are. *eyes You Guys with some fear*

Another thing- I'm locking things, so feel free to tell people about my fic. Point them to me and I'll friend them back ASAP.

I'm really, really sorry I had to do this and I'll be locking things up this weekend, so you have some time to ping me about it if you feel the urge. I just can't risk any TPTB folks reading. RPSers, I'm sure you understand.

(And I do reccommend you friend me. I don't mean to brag, but I have a big PRT AU on the way and I think you guys are gonna really like it.)

Let's do a news update

Some fun things have been goin' down in the pundit world. Let's make a purdy list.

1. For some reason, the second segment of The Big Show is not working. This is very annoying, I can tell you.



2. Remember the Great Viacom Purge of 2006? How about of 2007? Well, the excrement is not done hitting the rotary oscillation device- Viacom is suing Google-YouTube for a billion. Annoying, I know, so watch what you embed, as it may vanish at any time.



3. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Pace, has some problems with abolishing DADT. But don't throw your rotten vegetables just yet. Why? Well...



4. Keith got rageful over Bill-O's latest. And not the usual rage, folks, but a quiet, disgusted rage that makes your stomach clench. (NOTE: C&L's link- the "Play" option won't work on Firefox, so DL it and watch. It's worth it.)



5. The military is looking at paintballers in their recruiting. Insert your own joke here.



6. Joe Scarborough is becoming popular. Here's why he rocks hard despite being a Republican and a former congressman. And? He's adorable. Look here at the "Scarborough County Unplugged" videos for a squee. Especially Joe trying to get into Tao and having to name-drop? Oh, Joe.
   
   
7. Cute Keith article that is obviously not entirely accurate (little details that KO fans know, don't worry about it) is here. Keith types 80 WPM with one finger- his right pointer finger. Yes, it's okay to find that sexy. All of us do.



8. I hear Anderson was twelve kinds of adorable filling in for Regis with Kelly. I am squicked by talk shows, but, hey, Andy'll probably mention it on tonight's broadcast, so look out for that. cosmic has created a new word for cuteness so great: "anderable". I approve.



9. This song by Damien Rice is awesome.
