Okay, so... If I had the footage to do it, I might possibly do a MGS vid trilogy, all set to They Might Be Giants songs. Yes, I am crazy. "Birdhouse of Your Soul" would be for Otacon, obviously. And now I've decided "Cyclops Rock" would be a great ensemble villian song (more than that one Voltaire song- it's kinda too long to vid).
First verse is for Liquid: My defeated heart keeps beating on/I won't die/Like Chucky won't die/But I'm not here to socialize/Gotta find a new place to hang out/'Cause I'm tired of living in Hell
Second verse is soooo very Ocelot: I'm a mess/Since you cut me out/But Chucky's arm keeps me company/I'm a fright/With my tombstone smile/All the children run away from me/Gotta find new friends to hang with/'Cause you're all afraid of me
Third verse is Solidus: It was sweet/Like lead paint is sweer/But the after-effect left me paralyzed/I just stare/With my one glass eye/Hoping you won't be back again/There's a whole new generation/Waiting to be wrecked by you
ETA: lol, the female gibberish verse before the finale is The Boss, just CQCing the hell outta everybody. these are the things that I taught to you
It'd be really fun. I still lack the footage to do it, but... I'm gonna plot it out anyway. Because I am dumb.
Also, I don't know what the third video in the MGS/TMBG trilogy would be... I'm gonna figure it out though. :puts the band on repeat:
