1. Does anyone have a copy of the one MGS filk done to "We Didn't Start the Fire"? Don't judge me. I love MGS, I love Billy Joel, I love filk, and I love how the singer pronounces "Les Enfant Terribles". She pronounces the shit outta it, man.
2. Replaying MGS2 Tanker mission on a whim. You know, looking back, there was a lot of evidence supporting the idea that the MGS1 Otacon ending was the canon one. One of the first things you see is Snake using the Stealth Camo, then calling Otacon, and while Mei Ling and Naomi get namedropped, Meryl does not, making her the only remaining cast member not accounted for. Later, Pliskin mumbles in his sleep about Liquid and Meryl. If you weren't late to the series like me, you might assume both of them were dead. It's really odd. Was there ever a Word of God about which ending was canon before MGS4 came out?
