luciazephyr: Keep Calm and Don't Blink! ([DW] no words of greater wisdom exist)
Um so I accidentally got a free copy of World of Warcraft.

:stares at the box:

I dunno what to do with it. I just checked the insides-- there's a month of free play and two guest passes included. Maybe I should give it to someone as a gift? I mean, I don't think I can use it because the whole monthly subscription thing which scares me to death because I'm a huge flake about my gaming; sometimes I play 10 hours a day for a week straight, but sometimes I only turn on my consoles to watch the odd movie on Netflix (I'm in the latter mode at this moment). I don't wanna pay 70 something dollars for six months when I'll maybe use three of those.

Maybe I should give the game away as a present... Sadly, I know most of ya'll are, like me, doing the college thing and I think it'd be a bad present to get someone addicted to MMORPGs.

And I'm kind of waiting for Guild Wars 2 as far as popping my MMO cherry goes. If only for the one-time payment thing.

SO YEAH I HAVE A COPY OF WOW, WHAT DO I DO? Should I try it? Will it even run on a laptop? IDFK.

ETA: oh and I guess I should mention it's literally just WoW, not any of the expansions. Is it even worth it then?
