I'm listening to Snow Patrol when the left ear of my headset dies.

I am getting really fucking sick of buying headsets and having them die two months later. I think the longest any have lasted is three months. Then I lost 'em. *anger*

So, I need help. I wanna spend my $20 well, plzkthx.

[Poll #826979]

I appreciate it.

I gave mine a 9 because 1) they've lasted more than a year, and 2) they were only 10 bucks, so...

However, I have probably just jinxed myself with this comment.

I can't use earbuds. T.T They irritate my ears and my doctor's told me they are a big no-no.

But thanks anyway. *emos*

Well, I'm pretty sure Radio Shack makes other kinds, too. Don't know if they're as good or as cheap, but...worth a shot, no?

Like 3 years ago I got the sony earphones that fit over your ear. no headband, no earbud. They still work. The thing that flips onto your ear is broken (I can still wear them) but the earphones STILL WORK. They are the oldest pair of earphones I have. they stay in my purse all the time. They were prolly more than 20 but I wanna get another pair when I see them.

I've used the iPod earbuds, and my ears do not love me (look who has an ear infection!). I'd go with Bose, but since you only have $20, I dunno. *also has Bose noise cancelling headphones which are omg yay*

P.S.: Just saw 'Phantoms'. OMGWTFBBQ POOR RODNEY. *shifty eyes*

They make super-expensive high quality headphones and stereo equipment, but even these, a $12 model, are *vastly* better than the Apple headphones that came with an Ipod and cost about $30.

The sound quality is great, they're sturdy and never break or fuzz or or sound crispy. Yes, some whiners are like "Oh noes! The bass is not *perfect*!" but I'm an amateur musician and a long time music lover and I don't really notice it.

So, basically, if you buy these you'll have great headphones and eight bucks left over for a book.

Ooops, no earbuds? Well, they also make a lot of equally well priced traditional headphones, and I've heard nothing but good things about them even if I don't have any personal experience with specific models to share.
