INSTRUCTIONS:
01. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
02. I respond by asking you five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not so creepy/personal.
03. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions. (Yes, sir.)
04. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
05. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

[livejournal.com profile] zomboid gave me interview questions.

1. Who is your favorite screenwriter? Why? OHMYGOD.... *flails* UM UM UM UM.... AARON SORKIN! *cries* ETA: Just realized you wanted to know WHY. The reason why is because he wrote the most powerful hour of television: In the Shadow of Two Gunmen, the second season opener for The West Wing.

2. Do you see the 24-hr news channels as a good thing or a bad thing for society? Explain. Bad. It makes it very easy for people to avoid world events. They just don't turn into the news channels and they can slide by not knowing shit they really, really should.

3. What kind of college do you hope to go to? And why? Missouri State University? I guess? God, I have not thought about my scholastic future half as much as I should...

4. What city would you most likely want to live in if you can only live in one for the rest of your life? I honestly don't care, I suppose. I want a smaller town, but not a Bumblefuck, Hickland-type place (like I'm in now). And I want to be in a blue state. PLZ.

5. What is your view on fandom? Any fandom for that matter. Good? Bad? Or just dramatastic? I don't like huge communities. I am rarely ever a member of The Community for any particular fandom. I prefer the smaller groups in which everyone knows everyone. Like, in SGA? I'm not part of any of the fic comms, but I have Trin, Ami, Astolat, Jenn, and the flashfic comm friended. Anything really good pops up, someone will mention it and I don't have to swim through the crap to get the good crack. Also, my favorite fandom is SGA. My least favorite is Doctor Who because everyone in the fandom needs a fucking valium pill. The Rose Wars alone give me headaches.

Damnit I kenw I would regret this. Ok lemme try this.

1. I already am married to a lovely wife!

In seriousness, yes. I do expect that I'll get married someday.

2. It depends on what's going on. They're usually on a 4 or 5. Sorta in the middle. But when I wanna do something and they say I can't, well obviously it's a 8. But generally I'm in the middle with them.

3. 3 things? ummm... ok. Gay marriage is legal. Health care for everyone. And as much as I hate teaching - fixing no child left behind because it sucks.

Those were kinda lame.

4. .... is there a test I can take? Do I just sorta say, um well I think it's this? Looking at it, I'd say I'm a 1, possibly 2. According to some online quiz I found, I'm a 3, maybe a 4. ... but the quiz asked me 5 questions. So I'm sure that's really reliable.

5. Wasps as in bugs? or WASPs as in White Anglo-Saxon Protestants?

Wasps help polinate the earth! Or some environmental crap like that. And sting people. Can't forget that.

WASPs, if you want the true definition, came over here from England to find religious freedom and ended up making lots of money and settling in the east and being all stuck up.*

*No disrespect to the WASPs in the audience but hey, it's pretty true.

Um, so yeah, those are my "from the gut" answers.
