Name ten things (in no particular order) that make you happy and tag five others.
(this is not a 24/7 happiness list, just the things that hold good right now):

  1. The Carbon Leaf song, "Desperation Song". It's just addictive and quick and makes me think of gunshots and mysteries. If I could get up and dance to any song in the world, this would be it.
I'm turning it from shade to light, hold it up to candlelight, roaring into the firelight, scorching up the charlatans...

  2. Snow, and its lovely ability to keep my lazy ass out of school.

  3. The Oxford Comma. You know why? I'll tell you why. I'm in Journalism class and in one of the proofs my teacher did on my article, he started marking out the Oxford commas in my State of the Union round-up. And, subsequently, got into a ten minute argument with me over it. Eventually, he gave up, "fine, put the damn things back in!" Thanks, I will. *snapsnap* Is it probably against the AP Stylebook? Yeah, but do I give a flying fuck?*

  4. Stephen Colbert's theme song, "Dance, Soterios Johnson, Dance", by Jonathan Coulton. Seriously, guys, it's about a newsanchor who goes out dancing after work. It's hilarious.
He hails a cab in the early grey dawn, gets to work, turns his microphone on, and his dulcet tones wake up the city.

  5. How Chris and I tune into Tucker just to make snide remarks about his outfits. LULZ, he can't dress.

  6. This really awesome idea I have for a Psych fic. Like, it revolves around Lassiter's past, when he was a scholarly New York kid before Something Bad Happened. And everything he learned back then makes him aware that the series of murders are serial killings by someone with a sick sense of humor and a very good knowledge of literature. So Lassiter has to face his past and use things he's tried to forget. All the while, as the case spins out of control, Shawn's slowly figuring Lassiter out. It's be cool!

  7. How I have so many fic ideas, I literally can't get them all down fast enough. I kinda worry that the quality suffers due to my rush to get it all down, but... I wouldn't trade it for my old Writers Block.

  8. Plaid, worn, soft jimjam pants. Grandmum left some of hers here from the last time she visited and I'm stealing them. The blue ones in particular rock.

  9. That batshit AU Chris has me doing:
"I heard we'd finally filled that hole in the staff and wanted to say hello." Keith frowned at the new instructor. "What're you teaching?"
Anderson looked up from the box of books that he was unloading on the shelf. "I don't teach anything until some students transfer into my classes, but I'll do Psychology and Sociology and any other electives Principal Colbert wants me to. You?"
Keith smirked. "The four required Lit classes and the Dual-Credit Writing classes."
"Ooh, a core class man." Anderson laughed. "Poe and Shakespeare and so on?"
Keith's eyebrows rose a bit. "Please. Only the Freshmen. Milton, Aligheri, Orwell, and Adams."
Anderson paused in the stacking of the books and turned to face Keith for the first time since Keith had invited himself in. "Richard Adams?"
    Keith chuckled. "Douglas, actually."

  10. The commentary guys on the Westminster Dog Show. They remind me of Dan and Casey. *shakes head*

*Answer: No, I really don't.

omg I FORGOT ABOUT 9! YOU'RE STILL WRITING THAT? YAYZ!

For that, I will say lollerskates (or however the hell it is spelled) the next time I see you. Do you still need help figuring out other AUs? How many did you figure out again?

AND I STILL THINK HARRY POTTER AU FTW. Or at least I had another good one?

What about a House-type AU? snerk. How would that work? I don't think it would actually. Hmm, now I totally need to ponder? OH! Unless Andy is House but modified so that he's really closed off and stuff cause of the personal trauma and Keith is Wilson but really fucked up and no that sucks. Forget I mentioned that AU.

What about a Heroes AU... oh wait nm. We did that already. *snerk* *chi makes mental note to start bugging luce and leaper bout that fic*

OMG TOTALLY WRITE OUT THE COORESPONDANTANGEL!ANDERSON. Snerk. Or a weird SPN AU. Dude.... ghost hunting pundits?! Weird.

Ok I'm definately a little odd today. I'll shut up before I come up with crazier ideas.

This is fun tho. What about an accountant!AU? That'd be so boring. CAN THEY BE HOOKERS? HAHAHAHA! Talking about their routes and ANDY IS THE NEW GUY.

OMG STOP ME.

I KINDA AM? MAYBE? I AM SWAMPED WITH WORK, HOLY SHIT.

LOLLERSKATES, YAY! *wins*

Dude, I can't do Coorespondant!Angel!Anderson. I'm already doing Good Omens!rip-off. And huge no to SPN. Though... I can see Keith in a haunted studio and, as a joke, Dan sends over demon hunter Anderson, who's all sunshine and glee and bitchiness, but he carries a gun tucked into the back of his jeans, which is obscenely hot 'cause every time he bends over- I'M NOT WRITING THAT, I'M TOO BUSY!!!

I doubt anyone would buy old fogies like Jon and Keith. But I'd snatch up Anderson myself...

*STOPS YOU?*

Keith chuckled. "Douglas, actually."

That sentence should not be nearly as hot as it is. Mmm..Teacher!Keith. Slacks and button downs and jeans on Fridays. Slightly worn out jeans with almost-frayed cuffs.

And Teacher!Anderson. Mostly-ironed semi-casual work shirts with his tie knotted but loose. Loafers he slips off under his desk and khakis.

I am officially in my happy place.
