I know there are both Canadian and American versions of due South RayK Arc. I have seasons one and two on US DVD. Anyone wanna be a doll and explain to me how I should go about getting the second half of the series? Which version works best?

Er, hi! *waves* You friended me a while back, and I've been lurking around, and just friended you back yesterday. The only difference in versions is that the American DVDs are badly mastered, but cheaper. The Canadian ones are much better quality, but also much more expensive. Both are available on Amazon.

*taps chin* I thought that the American version was split up differently or missing some episodes... *confusion* But I can get by on US version without losing anything?

OH. Okay, I poked around on Amazon and found this in a review for Season 4:

"The U.S. run of Season 3 is the combined of the original Seasons 3 & 4 (since this show is originally Canadian) with several episodes cut out...Therefore, only get this if you have the *Canadian* season 3 otherwise, it will be a bunch of repeats."

So, the American DVDs combined 3&4 and sold them as just one season. I guess your best option would be to buy the Canadian versions of 3 & 4, which would be the last two seasons in their entirety.

Thank you also for the info! I was having this problem too. I own the first two seasons, but I only bought them because I hate buying out of order-- and I really want to see Fraser and RayK!
