Whadda night.

Honestly, I don't understand teenagers.

Okay, I understand the goddamn hormones make them... fuckin' insane, but this is ridiculous.

Tonight was one of the school dances/socials/whatever the hell you call `em. People get together at the school and hang out and such. You can probably guess I'd rather be at home, sneaking online to check LJs and updates at GateWorld. Alas, Hoshi and Meg-chan called me up and threatened not to give me back the SGA cd I burned if I didn't come.

Five minutes later I was picking out clothes.

I'm such a geek-whore, but that's not the point. Point is, they got me there.

In case you don't know, I, Dr. Zephyr Tanaka, run my group. Hail me as the ringleader. Admittedly, I enjoy this, going about and making peopl ehappy and entertained and the like. But some days, like this one, I fuckin' hate it.

Sarah-chan likes a boy. She told me this. My first thought was; "You're in High School. I severely doubt you're going to find your soul mate in Missouri." But I got dragged into her weird conflict with the guy (I'm still a little hazy on how, but whatever.) who is a complete fucking moron who needs to get his nose out of his fantasy world not the most agreeable guy in the school, and definately not worthy of my Sarah-chan. Then again, I'm not worthy of Sarah-chan, and I like to think fairly highly of myself relationship-wise.

So I have a chat with this guy a few times. He bloody shrugs and says he doesn't know how he feels about her. I'm sorry, but... WTF, mate? Son, it's not that hard to figure out if you like a person or not. Think about them, anaylse the mental response you get from them, and figure it out. Jesus, these kids are denser than weapon grade naaquadria. *rolls eyes*

Amazing, I can handle about twenty people online at once yet I can't help one crying chick in RL.

Add that with the fact the dance commitee couldn't afford a DJ, so they played their damn CDs on a crap comp system in WMP, the songs were all hellious. I was tempted to jog home, grab my CDs, run back, wait til they stepped away from the comp, and blare some fuckin' SR-71, Dir en Grey, U2, Bon Jovi (I'm man enough to admit I like him. Ha.), and other good stuff and have some password to lock them out of it.

That would have rocked.

Believe me, you'll have crappier ones when you're at high school. You think that's a dramatic situation, try having to go back and forth between the campus (which I add, is COLLEGE SIZED), all in half an hour, just to talk to two different people who can't see eye to eye anymore just because one of them thinks Kenshin isn't as hot as Vash. And that was only the beginning.

No fear, Lu-chan. California is the light....

I am talking about HS, you dork. >.< People are insane.

I wish their hormone-induced-craziness didn't kick in until after school. Then I wouldn't have to deal with them.

Welcome to my world. That story about milk having hormonally inducing steroids must have been true because goddamn it seems like another person gets pregnant every day or breaks up with someone or beats someone up. I mean for chrissake, I wish people could be more like us. I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of all the high-school melodramatic crap. I say we find a way to mold minds into the likeness of our own!!!!!!

Too much hard work, I think. In my years of school, I've only seen a handful of friends see the light of the Geek. The rest are bloodthirsty gangstaz and pimps.

Besides, the world can't handle more of us ~_^

True, true. I think if we each had a twin, we'd have overthrown the world by now.
