Okay, firstly? Scrunchy did what may be my absolute favorite PRT fic. Go read it: "This ... is BNN".
Secondly: I'M FINALLY DONE!

Before the PRT
1. "Decree", Ani Difranco
'Cause Daddy knows best, yes, this is the news in ninety-second segments, officially produced and aired again and again and again by the little black and white pawns of the network yes-men while the stars are going out and the stripes are getting bent.
(All) There is an unavoidable darkness in the news industry. It strives when the world is in despair, rating soar when people fall. They all accept that, in varying degrees, and learn to live with it.
2. "The View", Modest Mouse
As life gets longer, awful feels softer and it feels pretty soft to me and if it takes shit to make bliss, then I feel it pretty blissfully. If life's not beautiful without the pain, well, I'd just rather never ever even see beauty again.
(Anderson) While others can deflect it with humor and some superiority, Anderson is a reporter. He's devoted to the truth and lives in a world of facts, statistics, and plane tickets. It's harsh, but it's a job, one he accepts.
3. "State Your Peace", Hootie and the Blowfish
State your peace- go ahead and say it, I swear it can't get much worse. Make a piece of history, a blessing and a curse, before it gets worse.
(Jon) When you're the king of news satire and have been so for nearly a decade, it's tiring, yes, but when Jon sees all the good he's doing just with some criticisms and jokes, it makes the late nights, the awkward silences, and the backlash worth it.
4. "Won't Get Fooled Again", the Who
I'll tip my hat to the new Constitution, take a bow for the new revolution, smile and grin at the change all around, then pick up my guitar and play, just like yesterday. Then I'll get on my knees and pray we don't get fooled again.
(Keith) Dissention isn't new to Keith. Few haven't heard his rocky history with everyone he's ever worked with. Every week, it's a new controversy. Different lyrics, same tune, but that suits him fine. He's getting pretty good at it by now.

5. "Everybody Wants the Same Thing", Scissor Sisters
Just remember life's in love with you, but let's suppose that God ain't gonna drop you no hundred dollar bills. You've got to question your intentions 'cause the bad ones kill.
Chaos is not a virtue, paranoia loads the bases- just imagine giant rivers overflowin' with the faces.
(Stephen) He's not a man who belongs in the cutthroat business of news and politics. He's kind, modest, and a little in love with everyone he meets. Some would consider that a weakness. Hopefully, they're wrong.
The PRT Meets
6. "Do What You Want", OK Go
But something was wrong 'til you tapdanced on the air, in the night, screaming at the top of your lungs. You said, "Come on, come on, do what you want. What could go wrong?"
(All) Stephen and Jon always have lunch together. It was just them until Anderson came onto Stephen's show. Stephen immediately liked him and invited him along a few times.
Keith, though, was the result of a layover in the ice storms as Keith tried to head to a game and Anderson waited on a London flight. One overpriced airport, one television stuck on FOX News, and three hours of crap beer later and Anderson's taxiing out of La Guardia after leaving Keith the bar tab, sending Stephen an email: I owe Keith Olbermann $50 in alcohol. Can I invite him to lunch?
7. "Orange Sky", Alexi Murdoch
Well, I had a dream that I stood beneath an orange sky with my brother standing by. I said, "Brother, you know it's a long road we've been walking on."
(Anderson) It's a bubbly feeling when he's with them, loosening, smiling, laughing. It's strange to not be alone anymore.
8. "Pointless Nostalgic", Jamie Cullum
Thoughts running 'round my head today, times from the past popping up- where they're from, I don't know. Reminiscing my cares away, wishing I could go back and change the points that were low.
(Jon) It's harder for Jon to leave everything behind. He's a cynic and as Keith and Stephen argue over how to do proper impressions, sometimes all Jon can think of is, "Tony Snow's on right now spinning more lies in fifteen minutes than Rush Limbaugh can in his entire show." But, luckily, all it takes is a soft nudge from Stephen to bring Jon back.

9. "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", Santa Esmeralda
Baby, sometimes I'm so carefree with a joy that's hard to hide and sometimes it seems that all I have to do is worry and then you're bound to see my other side 'cause I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. Oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood.
(Keith) He's a mix of childish glee, razor-sharp wit, and a naturally abrasive personality. He goes too far, pushes and prods until he gets a reaction. It's often subconscious and afterward, he always feels a twinge of regret when he sees Anderson masking his hurt when he should have to.
10. "Dance, Soterios Johnson, Dance", Jonathan Coulton
A voice like honey, no one else could fill his shoes. Time and the weather, headlines, and the local news. He lays it down with perfection and grace. Done by noon, he goes home to his place where he sleeps and waits for the night.
(Stephen) There is a inherent difference between Jon and Stephen; Jon is stand-up, Stephen is improv. He's trained to be faster than anyone, piecing together a joke and delivering it with perfect cadence without a thought. Out of everyone, Stephen gets the table in stitches the most and takes joy in the chorus of laughter.
The Quartet Bonds
11. "Float On", Modest Mouse
I ran my mouth off a bit too much, oh, what did I say? But you just laughed it off and said it's all okay.
Bad news comes- don't you worry even when it lands; good news will work its way to all them plans.
And we'll all float on okay.
(All) It becomes so routine, they even have rules on who pays the bill. Then it's not just lunch dates; it spreads to nighttime drinks and secluded dinners. To be with people who understand the lifestyle and discovering that they give a damn- it's exactly what each of them needed.
12. "Going Missing", Maximo Park
Do you ever want to wear your body out until there's nothing left to take? The room began to push you away and midnight's come too soon again. I'm going missing for a while; I've got nothing left to lose.
(Anderson) He is still a man made of motion, always on the move. CNN can only keep him in one place for so long. Nowadays, though, instead of just his mother's worries and his producers' notes, Anderson has three new people sending him weird, often hilarious mail, leaving him silly voicemails, and basically reminding him of what homesickness feels like.

13. "Whatever I Fear", Toad, the Wet Sprocket
Whatever I fear the most is whatever I see before me.
(Jon) It's a comfort, to know that while the nation is spinning out of control in a blur of prejudice and misinformation, he can lock out the world for short time and enjoy life without all that- letting his life narrow down to a small cafe or someone's living room, surrounded by his friends.
14. "Invincible", OK Go
When they finally come to destroy the earth, they'll have to deal with you first and now my money says they won't know about the thousand Fahrenheit hot-metal lights behind your eyes- you're invincible.
(Keith) He's volatile and more than one person has said he can't work without a nail in his foot. Though he messes up a lot and he's certain Anderson (or Stephen, on Andy's behalf) is going to hit him one day, Keith tries to use his powers for good, not evil.
15. "The Two Sides of Monsieur Valentine", Spoon
He makes love to the Duke and swordfights the Queen. He steals the whole show in his last dying scene, but no one sees the two sides of Monsieur Valentine.
(Stephen) He's never not in his element- nailing interviewees, making a mockery of the Administration, trading barbs with Keith, writing a sketch with Jon, making Anderson pay for his recklessness, or just quietly reading with young John on his lap. For Stephen, everything comes natural.
16. "Us", Regina Spektor
They'll name a city after us and later say it's all our fault. Then they'll give us a talking to 'cause they've got years of experience. But we're living in a den of thieves, rummaging for answers in the pages. And it's contagious.
Jon gets moody and quiet; Stephen's jokes fall flat; Keith says something without thinking; Anderson remembers a dead body in Sarajevo.
Jon steals Keith's crossword; Stephen gets a comedic epiphany; Keith earns a coy smile from Anderson; Anderson gets in the last word.
The table's always turning, but (most of the time) they leave on good terms, pulling on their coats and lingering as long as they can, setting up times and dates, promising to call and email.
It may not last, but they all hope it does.

Feel free to ask for a re-upload.
Notes:
Okay. Um. This was a bit more involved than I was expecting, but I'm very happy with the end result. Only things I feel like saying... Thank you to
cosmic for her suggestion of "Orange Sky" that started everything. The artwork text is from both her and
scrunchy's PRT fics.
As usual, Andy was the easiest, though I'm most confident about Keith's. Jon's songs, I'm still not thrilled with and they apply to him more in tone than in the direct lyrics. Sorry about that, but Jon is a pain in the ass.
Hope you all enjoy! Sorry it was so long and had so much damn artwork. I am helpless against the boys' pretty. *draws hearts around them*

Grab WinRAR, right click the file, and "Extact to folder blahblag". Also, it can make .rars and .zips. *really ♥s WinRAR*
