Okay, so. My dramatic play that I was taking suggestions for? Well, I'm going with emulating another story. Or rather, a style of story. I'm going to rip-off Aaron Sorkin. The plot is a web administration firm that runs many small sites and leases server space but mainly focuses on their fandom archive. No, I'm not kidding. I'm writing a Sorkin take on fandom politics and internet administration. Yes, I am a nutjob.

Alpha Zeta Co. was founded by Damien Lee, who employs Ivan Taylor as the Chief Administrator of one of the biggest fandom archives in the fandom world. Ivan and his team try to keep a balance between keeping their system online, pandering to their readers, and pleasing the BNFs they have on retainer. Yeah, this whole thing takes place in a world where that whole "creative property" thing is completely handwaved away. Also, everyone happens to work in the same office building. Artistic liberties are of the win, aren't they?

Okay, here's my problem: I have no idea what to call the archive they run. Not a clue. They handle fandom news, spoilers, forums, and fanfiction. So... Poll time!

[Poll #920687]

Please, give me anything you can think of. I'm a bit hectic and busy right now, writing out a pedeconference with babble about a crashing RAID driver, a CAN line that intermittedly drops the connection, an new tech sup who screwed up a filename and there lost an entire branch of the fic archive, a BNF who was interviewed by a fanzine and said something stupid, and Ivan getting calls from Damien about why their webcomic affliate dropped them from their links page. Expect me to post something that is hugely incorrect on a factual level but hopefully vaguely amusing to fannish folk.

God, I'm going to hell.

Dude, writing in Sorkin-style should so be referred to fannishly as "Sorking", as in, "Lucia is Sorking about a fanfiction archive and it's very much Sport Nights-y, though the characters are usually more West Wing-y."

AMIRITE?

PS: AAAAAH, WTF, WHY AM I NOT DONE! *broken sobs*
