THREE DAYS LEFT OF SCHOOL OMG

Today rocked so hard! \o/

1. Watched Rainman in Psychology. Very sad ending. I hope Hoffman won for that performance.



2. Okay, so the seniors are out of school, right? Well, that cut the Journalism class to myself and Ashley. The newspaper was unedited and half done. So we, over the course of an hour, slap the bastard together and print it. I edit it faster than I've ever edited before, running pages to Ashley as I finish. She fixes, we print, and send the draft off to the Principal to approve. I never felt prouder of myself. We did what it usually takes the entire ten student class to do and we did it in less time. WHOO HOO! \o/



3. English class, I ace the finals and Ms. Underwood pulls me aside to tell me how much she loved my story. I tell her I had "Stranger in a Strange Land" in mind as I wrote it and she says she's very impressed. Cool.



4. PE class: I DID THE IMPOSSIBLE! Cole is this kid on the opposite team in softball and he's gonna snag a sports scholarship for college. He's good. He hits the ball, I'm in outfield, I run, raise my arm AND I GET IT. Barely caught it, but I did! Everyone is shocked and Cole looks at me like I'm some sort of magician before slowly strolling off the field, shaking his head.
   
   AND? THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I EVER CAUGHT THE BALL. OH YEAH, BABY!



5. I sweet talked my way out of a detention from the meanest sonovabitch ever: the Vice Principal. I laid on every Southern charm I had and he eventually tore up the detention slip and told me to go home. WHOO!



6. I learned that I'm a hot commodity among the staff from Harris, my journalism teacher. He wants me in his Photography and Web Page Design summer classes so bad, he's fronting the $10 photog fee. Again, cool.

So, yeah. Today = FTW.
