luciazephyr: Book of the Still, the time traveler's lifeline (Default)

This song is ridiculously sexy. I cannot take it off repeat. God, way to show off your voice, Andrew, baby. It's like this song is tailor-made for me: it has mad rhythm, vocals like soft longing, winding sad/romantic lyrics... Guh. It feels like the sort of love that you've held so long, it's part of your skin and bones, you can't live without the person even when you don't like them, you still love them and gaaaah.

You know what? The lyrics are so beautiful, I'm putting them here. )

So I'm on TV Tropes, right:

Lucy: What, really? :INSTANTLY DIVES FOR HER COPY OF X2: Oh my god, That Troper is right.
Mum: :after passively watching her daughter dive for the DVD cabinet in the middle of Countdown: What the hell was that?
Lucy: TVT's Estrogen Brigade page says Dayter is on the commentary for X2!
Mum: :with a look like It's not worth it to ask: Okay. :goes back to reading:

WHAT? I really kinda like David Hayter. He's like... And here you'll see just how much of a Troper I'm becoming. He's like an Inverted Promoted Fanboy because he became a fan of MGS through his voicework on it. Also, he wrote the screenplay for the goddamn Watchmen, okay? A screenplay that apparently Moore even gave his blessing to (as much as he can give his blessing to a movie adaptation of something he never wanted adapted).

Also, before I even knew he was a screenwriter, let alone the guy who did the first two X-Men movies, I liked X1 and X2, but hated X3. OBVIOUSLY I WOULD HAVE LIKED X3 IF HE WROTE THAT ONE TOO. I bet you he wouldn't have killed Scott. I liked that Jerkass.

Bweeee, Dayter, ilu, you crazy fanboy. ♥ But if Watchmen doesn't kick seven kinds of ass, you better believe I'm gonna hunt you down and re-enact the MGS1 torture scene on your ass.
