This news has me in honest to god tears.

Screw you, Squenix, you assholes. Five. Years. Of. Work. You destroyed it. It's a ROM HACK. How many people were going to play it? A few hundred, maybe a thousand or two? You arrogant pricks, you make games, you have to understand how much work these people put into this production. And now.... "The Crimson Echoes team immediately complied with Square-Enix's request, canceling and destroying all work on the title, something they had promised to do from the beginning."

I'm not buying the new Final Fantasy when it comes out. Not even going to rent it. Same goes for any Squenix game I was looking to buy.

I hate this industry sometimes.
