"Now these points of data make a beautiful line

We're releasing on time!"

I really want to play Portal.

Like.... really want to play it. Really. A lot. Seriously.

Just saying.

Mum won't let me buy it off of Steam because I mentioned it was $20 and only about six hours long. I tried to explain it would be the greatest six hours of gaming since we played Ratchet and Clank, but since she's positively phobic of FPS games, she is resolute. :woe:

Did you explain to your mother that it's not a real gun but a physic's defying gun?

That was never the issue. The "six hour" thing killed her. Even though our favorite reviewer Yahtzee said it was AWESOME.

I love your icon. THE POOR CUBE!

She is making a grave, grave mistake. Without this game, you just.... die.

Well.

It's not the "greatest game of all time ftw" or anything, but it so damn near close. Maybe some reviews and demos will win her over. There's actually a free Flash version of the game available on Newgrounds, right here.

Have her try it out, and promise that the real deal looks much more sweeter.

You should know I've been playing that fucking flash game for two days now and I keep getting stuck on level 32 because I forget to take the companion cube with me for the last android and I am so addicted. Damn you, Lancey.

Sorry, that was me. Pretty stupid of me to assume I was automatically logged in while I'm at work >.>
