Yeah, that was pretty embarrassing. I met Medea Benjamin (founder of Code Pink), and she's a very nice and very smart lady. This whole Berkeley thing was rather misguided.

It's not as if the Marines are going onto the streets of Berkeley and rounding people up against their will.

We could argue that a recruitment station in Berkeley might not be the best use of the Marines' resources, but that's as far as I'm willing to take it.

Didn't Code Pink have a tall transvestite standing in the back of the room during Valerie Plame's Congressional testimony last year? That was bizarre too.
