My Psych fanmix, Easy Once You Know How It's Done, is done. I have to make a few more art pieces for it, but the tracklist is done, the files are in order, the metadata and album art have been updated, and the lyric list is written. \o/ Whoop whoop.

Also, I learned that if I wanted to, i could have done a Ben Folds-Psych fanmix very easily. It is like the two were meant for each other.

Psssst <<....>>...(I might be working on an Anderson Cooper mix composed entirely from Ben Folds and Ben Folds Five.)

Damn, man, we should just hold a Ben Folds Appreciation Week.

(It had better have "Army" in there. Last verse, man.)

Heh, that's one I'm waffling on. The sentiment is okay, but so much of the other stuff is contradictory or whatever. I do have "One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces" and "Song for the Dumped"

"Army" has a man who always, deep down, wanted to do one thing, was told the idea was stupid, then proceeded to waste his younger years until he found a niche for himself later, though he still thinks about the original one thing.

Excellent point! But I wonder if others will be so discerning...

That's why you include a tracklist with details on why you picked each song.

Was just listening to Rockin' the Suburbs. You have to use "The Ascent of Stan". It's gorgeous and perfect.

The playlist so far:
Still(Reprise)
Bastard
Sentimental Guy
Time
Philosophy
Underground
Best Imitation of Myself
Narcolepsy
Mess
One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces
Song for the Dumped-- [livejournal.com profile] imperfectkreis insists.
Selfless, Cold, and Composed
Learn to Live with What You Are
Army

Debating:
Still Fighting It
Ascent of Stan--it's got one or two lines that make me think "Anderson" like the whole first verse, but the rest is giving me fits.
Jackson Cannery(and wow it's been too fucking long since I listened to these two albums)
Alice Childress("Alice the world is full of ugly things that you can''t change, pretend it's not that way, that's my idea of faith")
and
Air

Really need a Ben Folds icon.
