Jesus christ, Hillary, you fucking rock star.

That non-concession speech after the primaries was a travesty and I was dead certain I would never forgive you for that. But, damn, woman. Rock the fuck on.

ETA: Someone on SA put this best.

"Grand slam. Grand slam out of the ballpark, across the street, across the buildings across the street." -Olbermann.

Grand slam out of the ballpark, across the street and into the parking lot while slamming right into the windshield of John McCain's car.

ETA2: When even Nora O'Donnell is smacking Uncle Pat down, it's a beautiful day.

ETA3: SA again is awesome. The newest hitting of the nail on the head: Pat is a RL version of an internet troll.

I was watching on PBS (Damn not having cable in my room) and the first thing I aid was "Holy shit. Hillary's not putting her foot in her mouth!"

That was an amazing speech and I was glad to see that there were a few teary eyed people in the audience. Now all we can hope for is that her more fanatical supporters take her words to heart.

I am so in love with the MSNBC family right now. They've really come together over the past few hours.

It makes me wanna write fic. Like, teenagers in a foster home. Or something not lame. But all of them together and interacting.

They really, really have.

I think they'd look great as part of a class of high school kids in a social studies class, and BriWi or Tim Russert or one of the Elder Statesmen of NBC could be the teacher leading the discussion. Like it's the next day and they've all done their watching-the-convention extra-credit homework.

How bad does that fail? :(

And then they go out and throw eggs at Crazy Old Man Pat's house!

Hmm... that would be great! Especially if Crazy Old Man Pat is the principal, and Billo and Ann Cooter are in the same class, and Tucker is a geeky hall monitor who wants to fit in with both crowds for different reasons... 'Twould be awesome. I'm not good a writing RPF, but I'd co-write if you wanna.
