Something Awful's Raar_Im_A_Dinosaur just updated his Lets Play ("Weapon Jammed, PSI Low, Pants Shat: Let's Play SS2!"). I really really really want to watch it. But the SA forums are still on lockdown and are only allowing registered users to view anything.

Thus, for Christmas, I am going to ask someone in my family to give me $10 so I can buy an SA account. Because I am fucking addicted to Lets Plays and I go crazy the weeks they lock down the forums.

Maybe to pass the time, I'll do a Lets Play Pimp Post of all the greatest LPs.

And due to this post, I'm gonna go hook up my 360 and fiddle around for a couple hours before I have to leave to get to the concert on time. I'm not really in the mood for Guitar Hero or Rock Band, I'm thinking Oblivion or GTA IV. Probably Oblivion.

Today at work, I mentioned to my supervisor that an odd sketch I was doodling in a fit of boredom was a possible solution to a puzzle I was stuck on in Gabriel Knight. "Mr Manager," I asked cheerfully. "Have you ever played point-and-click adventures? In my opinion, they are the pinnacle of gaming excellence."

"No," he responded, somewhat wistfully. "I haven't played a video game in ten years. My wife isn't a fan."

I kind of want an SA account for the LP's, as well, but it's mostly so I can root through the archives. Not all the LP's have been archived, and I really, really want to be able to dig through the Master List without getting frustrated every time I see the word "Finished." And... Let's Play Pimp Post. <333 That'd be glorious!

Perhaps I should play a few more games. I'm no good at the newer games, but I have a perfectly good ScummVM that isn't getting any use.
