1. I am probably leaving the RPS fandom for the video game fandoms, at least for a while. God, I have to finish Love-ology first though, because thaaaaaat's kind of my fannish mangum opus, as lame as that sounds. I need to work on it. And yet I cannot make myself do it. Which sucks, because I have pretty much the whole thing planned out...



2. I kind of hate scrunchy and her fucking Rahm Emanuel theme song, "Hardcore Mutha Fucka." It makes me wanna write straight political slash in which Rahm is a strutting BAMF who terrorizes Congress into voting his way. Which in my mind is reality. RAHMBO GONNA KNIFE YOU IF YOU DON'T PASS THAT HEALTH CARE BILL, BITCH.
   
   I mean really. He's a nine-and-a-half fingered ballerina who hides under his desk to avoid confrontations and stabs dinner tables with fucking steak knives while condemning traitors and refuses to answer to Pelosi because the only woman allowed to boss him around is Hillary. I MEAN COME ON. He is a fictional character. No one THAT batshit gets THAT far into politics unless he's being written by a very strange person.



3. Okay, here's a character I've been wanting to write for.... months now. Her name is Diane, her handle is "Artemis" (get it?). She's a gal gamer who is more than a little intense. She's loud, brash, swears more often than not, and is highly superstitious. She walks so fast, she sometimes has to stop to give automatic doors time to open. (That is actually how I came up with her, actually... I just had this image.)
   
   Speaking of images of her, one thing I am positive about Ane is that she breaks her controllers a lot. She tends to throw things when frustrated. She's gone though about 50 controllers in her life, a handful for nearly every system. The thing is, she is very superstitious about this and collects the broken parts and incorporates them into her belt. Yes really. The buttons especially- she sews them into the belt in abstract patterns. I may have to draw this, because I have this very vibrant, clear idea in mind.
   
   The thing is, I have no story for her. So she's just living in my head, adding anti-woman gamers to her Hit List (tacked on the corner of the TV) and going after the jerks. "BOOM, HEADSHOT!"
   
   And she has a tattoo of the lambda from Half-Life somewhere. Gordon Freeman is her role model. She may also have one of OoT's songs on her right shoulder blade. Am unsure. MAYBE I SHOULD JUST DRAW HER?



4. I need to name a character Amelia. I must. Why? Because I want her friends to call her "Ami", pronounced "ah-mi". I have no idea why, but I just.... really need that character. I know her personality and her smile and the way her eyes go half-lidded when she smiles. It all stems from her name, though. I am fixated on this so badly, I just occasionally say the name, trying to conjure up a story for her. It's driving me crazy.

Anyone has similarly weird wraatin-related thoughts they just need to get out? I AM HERE TO LISTEN TO YOU.

I am going to take you up on this offer, because I had an RPS idea this morning on my way to work, and I don't want to lose it entirely. Also I really want to write Simon Amstell/Noel Fielding slash, despite my lack of confidence in writing either of them, but they're so adorably snarky together... And Simon might offend Noel by saying he think Noel's girlfriend makes shit music, and Noel, serious for once, actually slaps Simon in the face. And Simon, defensive and defiant for some indescribable reason, actually slaps him back. And they kind of stare for a bit, until Noel laughs that Simon is such a girly little prick, what's he got to PROVE... Also there would be much mockery of Simon's new haircut ("Where's your hair gone, Amstell? You look like someone went at a poodle with some hedgeclippers.")

And I've forgotten the exact wording I wanted, but that's the image in my head. Slapping, wtf. Clearly they would eventually have sex.

I love creating characters, though I've been living with the characters I created for my two novels (two sets of characters), and while I have very little plot for the stories themselves, they've grown up with me, and now have detailed pasts and futures...
