So my Thanksgiving:

1. Wake up, rearrange living room to move Mum's chair closer to telly because she is apparently going deaf.


2. Look through newspaper for Black Friday sales. Discover nothing at all.


3. Play MGS3. Despair muchly over Ocelot discovering torture is totally his kink. Cheer over his mum beating him like the snotty brat he is. Find Big Boss oddly attractive. Find the Boss not-so-oddly attractive. Lose my shit when I realize that the game took away my peripheral vision on the right after having my eye shot out. Realize that I wanna do unspeakable things to Kojima for adding little details like that into the game.


4. Despair over Ocelot some more. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO GROW UP TO BE AN ASSHOLE? You were such a cute kid.


5. Make dinner. Fail at juggling crab cakes, crab legs, and oysters.


6. Find there is no way to emulate Metal Gear Solid Mobile. Whine at mother about not getting to play it. Avoid mentioning the allegedly huge amount of married-ness between Snake and Otacon in the game as key reason to want it.


7. Watch Stephen Colbert's Christmas Special. Oh god, "Nutmeg" was brilliant. And the final song was really good, actually.


8. Eat dinner. Find three dime-sized crabs in my oysters. WOOOOOOT.


9. Clean kitchen. Turn laptop on. Update LJ.


10. Notice that Firefox crashes whenever someone embeds a video from Comedy Central on the FList. Curse a lot.


11. Despair over Ocelot. So cute. Gonna turn into such an asshole.

Snake Eater is also what made me fucking LOVE Ocelot (even grown up Ocelot. Yeah, I know). He's so damn PRESH. And his crush on Big Boss is really cute and obvious.

Still hate grown-up Ocelot tho. Torture and ponytails are not kosher. :( But I'm not done with the game yet, so maybe more awesome is to come? I just finished Sorrow's river.

There is an option in your profile that makes LJ put a placeholder for videos. It helps with the weird video embeds and and autoplaying.

I heard that there's going to be an N-Gage version of it out soon. N-Gage is really easy to emulate and ROM, so it should be a bit easier then.
