Man, I love BioShock. I just made it to Arcadia and I I absolutely heart Atlas to pieces. We're gonna find that sonovabitch Ryan and take him out, yeah!

SPOILERS: I mean... I know we're not, but still. I ♥ Atlas and wish he wasn't a total backstabbing conman.

Also: WTF GHOSTS IN ARCADIA? This I could do without! :nervous wreck:

After I beat this game, I'm gonna play something happy and nice and preferably cel-shaded.

The game was beautiful and the plot with the Little Sisters was really cool, but by the time I got to the end of the game, I was so fucking sick of the Ayn Rand and Objectivism references I wanted to throw my controller at the TV. I'm not a fan of my entertainment shoving morals down my throat, which is pretty much why I am not a fan of Hayao Miyazaki's work as most others are.

Yanno, I think, if anything, BioShock is a deconstruction of Objectivism, showing why the philosophy is stupid and flawed. At least, that's the feeling I got from it.

Oh, it absolutely shows why Objectivism is stupid and flawed (and it is), I just don't like my games teaching me a lesson, even if they ARE right and I agree with it, you know? I'm not above entertainment teaching me things, but telling me how I should feel about something is totally different thing.

I'm just in Arcadia, so I've still got a ways to go, but so far I don't get that impression.

Then again, my impression so far is mainly: "Atlaaaas, talk to meeee ♥- OMG OMG OMG SPLICERS SHIT RUN- Oh yeah, fist of lightning, bitches- OH GOD, THAT ONE'S NOT DEAD AAAAH."

In a nutshell.
