2. Where and when were you born? Babylon, Long Island, NY. March 10, 1970.
3. Who are/were your parents? Did/do they have occupations? Arthur Emmerich taught at LIU and NYU. Julia Danzinger-Emmerich was a psychiatrist, apparently well-known in England...
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? E.E., Emma, my stepsister. She was... much smarter than me.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? The Prism, on the Home Plane, Room 141(.12). I don't have any roommates yet.
6. What is your occupation? Freelance intelligence and robotics engineer. Mostly just sign up for jobs that need to be done.
7. Write a full physical description of the character. (Third Person)
Middle-ages, lanky in a "I don't eat or sleep enough" way, dark almost feathery hair, grey eyes, glasses. His right palm has a green barcode, and both have long scars going down the middle. One side of his face has thin straight scars going from his nose to his ear.
8. To which social class do you belong? Erm, it varied over the years...
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? [laughs] Just general weakness.
10. Are you right- or left-handed? Ambidextrous.
11. What does your voice sound like? I've never thought about that before... I have no idea. Just... average?
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? Oh, various technical jargon, probably.
13. What do you have in your pockets? At the moment? Let's see... A screwdriver, USB portable drive (five GB, it's really handy), a roll of bandages for my injuries, my NANO, and my gloves.

16. What is your earliest memory? I think I was five or something. I was drawing on the floor of my Grandfather's living room. I was drawing a robot. He looked so upset when I showed him...
17. How much schooling have you had? I have a few degrees, went to MIT and Princeton, and I've done quite a bit of VR training.
18. Did you enjoy school? It wasn't horrible. But then again I didn't spend much time in high school; I have a GED, not a diploma. It's a long, boring story.

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? I wouldn't have joined ArmsTech. Would have found another path for Raiden and E.E. Wouldn't have let him go on that mission...
38. What is your best memory? It's going to sound silly... A few weeks after we took in Sunny, I watched Da- erm, Snake put her to bed. It's the closest I ever felt to having a real family.

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? I think I'm a realist. Snake says I'm an optimist. Story of my life.
41. What is your greatest fear? Losing people. I'm so... just tired of goodbyes.
42. What are your religious views? I was raised Jewish, and I like some of that culture, but probably agnostic. I don't think about the whole cosmic question that much.
43. What are your political views? I'm a secular guy. And I really hate surveillance. Really hate it.
44. What are your views on sex? Uh, well.... It's nice, but no good seems to come from it.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? I don't think I have it in me, but I know there are situations where it needs to be done.

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? I think I'm pretty nice to people, but I try to stay professional. Not that it usually works, mind you. The only person I know really well is Snake, and I guess I treat him differently. I mean, after so long, how do I not?

56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. [laughs] Again, Snake. I used to think he was this immortal warrior. Now I know better. He's something much more than that.

70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes? I'm getting really good at NetHack again. Sunny keeps beating my score though...

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night? Before the Prism, mostly watching television on the sofa with Snake and Sunny, or watching her play a game. It's really peaceful...

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? Browse the 'net. Correct Wikipedia articles. Start some memes on 4chan.
81. How do you deal with stress? I don't really. It's something I need to work on...
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? I always have a plan. The plan very rarely occurs as I want it to though.
83. What are your pet peeves? Typos in subs, the sound of a tea kettle whistling, and computers with integrated graphics.

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. Wake up, get Sunny to school, make sure Snake doesn't eat too much of his nicotine gum, fill up my time with mindless activity- It's really a very average retired lifestyle. I'm very boring, but I'm content.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person? I'll stick by someone, no matter how hard the road gets.
86. What is your greatest weakness? I'm far too trusting and it gets me in trouble.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I'd like some knowledge of how to raise a child. Everyone else makes it seem so much easier.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted? Introverted.
89. Are you generally organized or messy? M-messy. i think of it as controlled chaos.

I'm a good support man, pretty good with engineering new battle tech, and think I'm a loyal friend. On the other hand, I'm a horrible cook, a bit of a nag, and I still can't shoot a gun.

Idealistic and silly, but you know.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime? Being a decent father would be nice. Pulling off a perfect score in NetHack would be amazing. N-not that the latter is more important.

So when I found out others thought the same thing- it's one of my favorite bits of fanon ever. ♥
