The thing with MGS badfic games is that they tend to end up like:

Bad Premise fic
Characters: *do bad premise completely word for word, maybe with better spelling*
Secret Bonus Post-Credits Phone Call: all vr simulation for teh patriotz
*SCARE CHORD*

or, alternately:

Mary Sue fic
Mary Sue: *sparkles!*
Otacon: Hello -
Mary Sue: *drops dead*

No no. That's duuuumb. :| i'm thinking of SGA's old fic challenge from years ago where .... I think it was Astolat, she got the twenty worse summaries on FFN she could find and everyone wrote them in a great way. Hers was, as usual, the best.

You don't think this fandom could pull it off? :(

Well, first of all, SGA is a massive and ugly fandom. We are a small fandom. We have a pretty good ratio of badfic to goodfic even on FF.net - there's not a lot of the truly incoherent stuff besides Squirrelking's opus, Fight Of Metal Gears.

I think it might be fun to do as a little group, but not as a big 'official' challenge.

Nothing against SGA, or the fandom! It's full of meta (I swear to god that half of all meta comes from SGA) and funny ships and creative fic - it's just very big, which means you're more likely to find a constant supply of badly spelt fanfic summaries about Princess Ancienta than you will in Metal Gear.
