Long time no speak, folks. I'm deathly ill, have no school, and am hopelessly bored. Time for an update!

To my Scribas Slashers: About Double-Act... Um... I've written like, three more pages. That's it. I'm a sad and pathetic person who needs her muses to write a single word.
Good news about this: Report cards are comin' soon. Beside the obviously sucky maths grade, I'm a prize student last I checked, so I may be able to get online on weekends a wee bit. *crosses fingers*

Before I forget: I overhauled all my userpics. Can you guess what my new obsession is? Yep, I'm a Browncoat, folks. Once you find Serenity, you never leave, and such. Anyway, if anyone knows who did the Misbehavin' icon, lemme know. I fond it on a contest entry list and no creator name was attached. *grumbles*

I'm in a writing mood again as well. I have been attempting the Numb3rs fandom, since it is a brilliant fandom, but is in desperate need of non-incesty slash. Yes, I have found my master squick. *shudders* I'm working on a Firefly/Numb3rs crossover that I hope to con hobbit_feet into with me. If anyone else is interested, let me know and I'll eamil you the details. Should be fun. If it ever gets written. The only fic I am certain I will finish is my Double-Act fic, because it is my one true love. *cuddles it*

The other thing is - anything can happen in an SGA story. The combination of Ancient technology, otherwordly location, and mysterious brain-breaking pseudo-science is - well, let's just say that the characters are flirting with the line where sufficiently advanced technology becomes magic. And sometimes they get all the way to home base and start straddling that line, or even openly fucking with it. Want a story in which wishes come true? SGA can meet that need. Want a story involving mythological creatures - vampires, fairies, centaurs, unicorns, maybe gorgons or phoenixes or King Kong? SGA can meet that need. Tentacle porn, Japanese rope bondage, all manner of weirdly erotically-fixated deii ex machina, sentient light - really, there's nothing that can't happen in this fandom.

Other than that, school has been crazybusy since I'm student teaching. I just finished my high school internship and am moving on to elementary school. I have a bit more time I think these next 2 weeks before I have to start teaching them. Why? Any requests?

Requests... I heard "The End of the World As We Know It" and said, 'omfg, that would make a great Numb3rs vid'. With all the beat changes in the song, it's be very fast-paced, jumpy, and fun. I you don't know what I mean, check out DaveChicken's SGA vid to the same song.
If not that... um... something Numb3rs. I don't care what. Wait, correction: something fun and Numb3rs. Plenty of angsty vids out there. I want to badly to see a lighthearted one.

Actually, yes. But I don't require it for any of the fannish stuff I see. Only thing I really need is Larry and Charlie interacting in any fic/vid I read/watch. They are so interesting.

No Prison Break for me. As a rule, I boycott FOX (sans House MD, the Gayest Show Ever). I cannot stand that station. How many shows has it killed now? I know it's over thirty.
